In this hands-on class, we will explore the fascinating history of the besom, its connection to witchcraft and folk magic, and how brooms became one of the most recognizable symbols associated with witches. We will discuss their use in household blessings, ritual cleansing, seasonal celebrations, and magical practices throughout history.


Participants will learn about the symbolism of the materials traditionally used in besom-making and the magical correspondences associated with them.
